Pine Mill Ranch Meet Continuation Information

Hello Otters,

As you know, our crazy week just got crazier. We had to stop the CRSW - PMR meet because of malfunctioning pool lights and breakers. The swimmers were not able to see the pool wall, which is an obvious safety concern. We will be continuing the meet on Saturday morning (6/9) with the meet details documented below. There are two main considerations for Saturday, Swimmers and Volunteers. Forgive us for the lengthy email, but please read and take action as necessary and as quickly as possible, deadline is tomorrow, 6/6 at Noon. Thank you very much for your patience as we have finalized details with Pine Mill Ranch.

Makeup schedule:

  • PMRST Pool
  • Swimmer check-in at 7am
  • 6:00am - Pool is open for setup (both teams)
  • 7:00am - CRSW swimmers arrive - PMR warmups
  • 7:15am - CRSW warmups
  • 7:30am - Meet start where we left off

  • Deadline is tomorrow, 6/6 at Noon
  • If you only have 6U children, the meet is considered over for you other than volunteer requirements (see below)
  • If your swimmers did not swim Tuesday night, please go to the declaration page and mark your swimmers as “Not attending this meet”
  • If your swimmer swam last night and will be there Saturday morning, please declare them as “attending”.
  • If your swimmer swam last night and will NOT be attending Saturday, please go to the declaration page and mark your swimmers as “Not attending this meet”

Volunteers:

  • If you were scheduled for the 1st half of the meet only, you have completed your requirement
  • If you were scheduled for the 2nd half of the meet or had a job than spanned the entire meet (Ready Bench, Ribbons), you will be expected to complete this requirement Saturday morning. Please find a replacement if you cannot fulfill your commitment.
  • No 6U Ready Bench is needed.

Volunteer Arrival Times:

  • Ready Bench parents: Please arrive at the pool no later than 6:45am
  • 2nd half Head Timer, Timers, Judges, Roamer, Timer/Console Runner, Ribbons: Please arrive with your swimmers no later than 7am.

There is a need for Meet Transportation volunteers to help transporting the Ready Bench tents and setting them up prior to the meet. You would then take them down at the end of the meet.
