We have received a lot of feedback regarding our Volunteer Coordinator position. Most can see, even from a spectator role, that the position can be daunting at times. This is a testament to the challenging work and effort Melissa Pinkerton and her predecessors have put into this role. We have heard from several people that they would volunteer for the position if some of the responsibility was given to a second person and that these two people would work as a team. This feedback has made us rethink and tinker with the position.

The Board has decided to split this position into two. The two will run as a team/co-chair and for board purposes, have one unified vote. Other than for voting purposes, each member would be considered a full member of the board. The duties will be divided between the pair and decided upon later.

For interested parties, we are asking that you find a partner that you would feel comfortable working with and submit your names as a team for the “position”. Please submit your interest to me directly by Wednesday, June 20^th.
