06/09 Away Meet Information
Otter Families,
Please see the attached meet information for Monday's AWAY meet against the Long Meadow Farms Stars. The theme for the meet is LUAU! Please review the attachment carefully, as this contains important details on parking, check-in times, concession information, and more.
Please pay special attention to the times, as they are a little bit different for this meet. The meet will begin at 5:30 PM, so everything is running a little bit earlier. Of note, the Long Meadow Farms pool has 6 lanes, so we anticipate having more heats of each event in order to accommodate all swimmers.
Swimmer check-in will begin at 4:00 PM. If you know you will be running late, please email the Coach Liaison at [email protected]. Swimmers who arrive after 4:30 PM who have not notified us may be scratched from events.
If you are a volunteer at the meet (or if there is another adult volunteering in your place), the volunteer must be able to show proof of the completed Athlete Protection Training. Please print or take a screen shot of the certificate so it is easily accessible. This is a WHALe requirement, so if this is not completed, you will not be permitted to volunteer. The training can be accessed through this link: https://training.swimwhale.
Heat sheets will be available through the Swimtopia app. These will not be finalized until close to the meet start time, so we ask for patience as this process is new this year.
Please note that on Tuesday (06/10), we will follow a modified practice schedule as follows.
8:30-9:00 am - 6 Years & Under
9:00-9:30 am - 7 & 8 Age Group
9:30-10:00 am - 9 & 10 Age Group
10:00-10:30 am - 11 Years & Up
Lastly, our picture orders have arrived and will be available at practice beginning tomorrow. They will be in a cardboard box on the lifeguard table upon entering. For anyone who is still interested in ordering pictures, the photographer has provided the link. 2025 Cinco Ranch Otters Swim Team Online Photo Gallery Link: https://my.photoday.com/
