Otter Families,

Congratulations to all our swimmers who participated in the Meet of Champs yesterday! As we wrap up another great season, we’re excited to host our End-of-Season Team Party! We are looking forward to seeing many of you tomorrow. Here are a few reminders of the details.

Team Party

Our Team Party will be held Monday, June 29 from 8:30–10:30 AM at Rosewood Pool. Donuts will be provided, courtesy of Will Borel with White Oak Realty. A big thank you to Will for generously sponsoring our donuts all season long! Additional breakfast foods and drinks will also be available. 

During the party, swimmers will receive trophies and awards. Any remaining ribbons from the season can be picked up during this time as well. 

Wear your swimsuits! Swimmers, siblings, and adults are welcome to swim. 

Coach Appreciation

We’ll have individual gift bags at the party so families can leave small tokens of gratitude (thank-you notes, gift cards, etc.) for our coaches. They’ve worked hard for our swimmers all season — let’s show them some love!

Board Positions

During the Team Party, we will vote on open Board positions for the upcoming season. If you’re interested in running, please let us know — we’d love to have you join us!

We currently have several open positions:

1. Registrar – Sends registration links and helps families join the team (handoff from Kristie Zeringue)
2. Communications – Handles parent announcements, social media, and coordinates with our team photographer (handoff from Meghan Corso)
3. Treasurer – Manages team finances (handoff from Eric Tang)
4. Fundraising – Secures sponsorships, runs parent raffles, and organizes sponsorship activities (handoff from Toby Zeringue)

No special experience is required — just a willingness to help and a passion for supporting our swimmers. Current Board members will be available at the party to answer questions.
